The first of its kind in New York, LIRA’s peer support phone line is aimed at empowering youth and young adults on Long Island by providing individualized peer-support services in order to motivate, encourage, and guide their recovery process as they find hope after addiction.
12to12 Peer Support Phoneline
Directed by our Young Peoples’ Committee, 12to12 is a first-of-its-kind peer support phone line, available between 12pm and midnight, seven days a week. Staffed by volunteers and trained recovery support specialists, the phone line serves as an on-the-go support service to young adults in early or sustained recovery. Offering referrals to levels of care, direct support, and guidance on how to maintain recovery, our phone line is officially live to the public.
Our line is supported by volunteers. To get involved and donate your time to our incredible service, please use the available form on this page to submit an application for volunteership.
